Well done sir!, getting these cars actually painted properly during a restoration is such a big step forward. I'm all depressed now :( , it's taking me an age getting mine into primer due to so much surface damage.
Tell us more!!, The front end looks like one piece, is it new?.

Dave,

Thanks for your comments. To date the car has taken about 20 years to get to this stage so I too have had bouts of depression! You could say that the front end is brand new due to the fact that it has never been on another car or painted before although I did buy it from Tim Duffy about 15 years ago. I is one piece now as I wanted to flip front it so the bonnet is actually now been grafted on. Lots more to do though but I think the end is in sight. It needs to be though as I've promised the other half that we will be using it for our wedding next year! Let's hope it's done.

Gary.

Are you using those wheels/tyres?
They are very low profile for such a light car

Wheels and tyres are borrowed and are only on to move the car around. That is just another one of the many jobs on the list to get sorted. Will probably have to get some made. If it were a race car The choice would be easy but it's predominantly going to be road although it would be a criminal not to get the old girl back on some tracks where it should be!

Thankyou for your kind comments. Having raced in Autograss racing for a number of years I decided to go down the bike engine route seeing as from the mid nineties this was a popular and very successful engine modification. After diong some homework I decided using an engine out of a Yamaha R1. It has been installed and been running. You can see this on You Tube under "Kit car exhaust".
