Think this is the ex Mark Britt car that was damaged at a hillclimb in the late 80's and then converted into a roadgoing convertable

Hi. After Mark Britts Wiscombe Park crash, me and my uncle purchased the damaged car. The badly damaged roof virtually fell off! We repaired the remainder of the bodywork, tidied up the roof area, and decided to make it a convertible. After doing all this we registered the car for the road. My Uncle drove it for several years, but due to his increasing age, the car was taken off the road. At present, it is a rolling bodyshell, with and engine and gearbox ready to be fitted. It also needs a dash, and some form of seats. Sadly, my Uncle is very unwell, and the car will then be passed to me. Unfortunatele
y I have a severe fiberglass allergy, so when the time comes it will be for sale. I cannot say when this will be, but now that I am on this Forum, and whens the time comes, I am sure I will find it a good home. It really needs to go back to Modsports racing. As soon as I can work out how to, I will put some pictures of the car on here!

Always interesting to see some history behind a car. Shame you will have to sell but I'm sure there will be interest in it.

Sorry to hear about your uncle.

Car looks good as a convertible, but think the single yellow finish suited it better
