I'm about to buy four adj shox, probably from Protech as they seemed helpful and interested on the phone. However there are also spax and avo's available, Has anyone any comments or preferences on these three?
Dave.

Re: Adjustable shoxs
My previous experience with Avo's on a TVR were good and they were happy to recondition them as well - great service and not that expensive. I was given some Avo's with my Davrian so will be using them. Can't comment on the others...
Re: Adjustable shoxs
I have a set of Protec's made to order to my spec and they have been fine.
For the road I have had to set them quite low otherwise they are too stiff but this would be true for Spax, AVO etc.

Re: Adjustable shoxs
When I built my Mk4 for racing ten years ago Tim Duffee supplied me with AVO adjustables. They seem a good unit.

Hi Guys, I had spax on my mk7a no problems, but spent some
time getting spring rates correct, also have them on the
mk 6a yet to be tried.
