Car has now been for its MSA logbook so we hope to be at Goodwood stages in feb,if we ever get the brakes to work.

Great news, for me anyway,we now have brakes,even got the gearbox out saturday,and today it had it new Mfactory race gear kit fitted,and we put it in about an hour ago,very nice,all the cables and gear stick work just fine.
MOT saturday still looking good !!

Hi all,
i took the Dav out today on some private land,first time i have ever driven it.
Problems are
1, my arm hits the mot handbrake !
2, my right foot hits the throttle pedal when going for the brakes !
3, its so soft on the road !
worst of all a low soft brake pedal.

Do they all have so much front end grip,very good, if todays anything to go by she could be a quick rally car indeed.

Will be driving it to Goodwood stage rally on the 11th of Feb

Dean, any reason for not keeping the throttle bodies and emerald ecu?

Hi yes easy answer,my mapping guy said we will be better off standard,and use crome,or ectune and a standard ecu,we mapped a B16b engine in the gtm in standard trim and saw 207bhp.+ i sold the ech and t/b`s for £1100.
As a race car around Brands where you are always right up at 8-9k we could get a few bhp,but as a rally engine,and a car i will go out on the road in,even get 30+mpg standard is best.

Well she had her m.o.t today,then a quick drive,man this is a quick little thing.
under 700kilos and 175bhp makes for some interesting speeds,in such a sort distance.
Happy at last,let the testing start.
Need to lose bump steer from the from,make the thing a bit softer,less rear camber and shes there,weekend pad bedding in for me.
