I found the original pre digital photo of John Wheeler's very early Davrian, in the Darrian works in 2001, being prepared for Historic racing. This is the first car to have a FIA rollbar fitted without removing the roof.

Note the lack of B pillars, it's pre Mk 4.



We collected various parts on this visit, in January 2001, on the way back from Ayr with the Mk 7 on a trailer.
