Here's two more for the alive section, Mk4 chassis 4025 registered in 1970and Mk7 chassis D17015 registered in 1976, both now living here in a dry barn in France.
The Mk4 has been fully rebuilt and prepared for competition with a JK box, race clutch and 1040 engine, the Mk 7 had been a successful competition car, winning a sprint/hillclimb series in Scotland, but is now waiting for an engine to be finished by Ian Sykes, and also for me to repaint and generally tidy it up.
It has Davrian front arms.
Mk 4 with S1 111S Elise.
Mk 7 on weighbridge...result (with engine and box) 490kg!!!
