Everything now totally stripped, suspension arms and xmember off to be blasted and powder coated.

Well after some investigation i shall answer my own question!.
The steering coupling is the top joint from a Triumph Toledo 1300 or 1500 FWD 65-73.
It took a while to find a new one but Ebay came to the rescue as always.

Restoration now started on my Mk6 which i have owned nearly 30years, first question is can anyone remember what car the bottom steering column joint is from?. I think it may be triumph but cant find anything that looks like it.
