Re: Davrian Mk 6a
Front end bolted back together.
MOT now Thursday afternoon as the garage couldn't fit me in on Wednesday. Leaves very little time to rectify anything if it fails.
Oh, and I need to insure it - anyone recommend a company, preferably one that has heard of a Davrian!

Re: Davrian Mk 6a
Oil filter housing gasket fitted which has stopped the leak! IMG_1366.JPG Bodywork back on and lights tested - everything works, including the indicators, hazards, side lights, brake lights and number plate light - just as well 'cos I don't have any time left to rectify anything else. Re: Davrian Mk 6a
She runs! Although just sprung an oil leak from where the oil filter housing mates to the block. Will need to make up a gasket tomorrow and reseal it. Getting closer to the MOT next week but still much to do! The bike exhaust sounds sweet to the ear...although it will probably make me deaf after a f...

Re: Davrian Mk 6a
Another weekend spent trying to get the Mk6a ready for Castle Coombe - this weekend was running new brake lines and what a pig of a job when you only have ramps and axle stands to raise the car and given my size and age, crawling underneath is no mean feat! Well the brake lines are fitted, including...

Re: Davrian Mk 6a
Managed to get all four corners finished and started to run the new brake pipes. Also fitted a single DCOE Weber combined inlet/exhaust manifold - not easy to find these days and cost a pretty penny. With only a few weeks left to finish the running gear and get it MOT'd it will be a miracle if I mak...

Re: Davrian Mk 6a
Managed to get the nearside rear end fitted with a new Rotoflex drive coupling (bit of a pig to fit). It's getting there bit by bit!

Re: Imp stub axle needed
Dave, If you are quick you can buy a pair from eBay... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hillman-Imp-Pair-Of-Front-Wishbones-/263056196677?hash=item3d3f5f0445:g:bO0AAOSw3YJZT9rf I have also had a look behind my shed and I have a pair too - they are about the same condition as the eBay ones and come complete...

Re: Imp stub axle needed
If Dave does not have one, let me know and I'll have a dig around behind my shed as I think I have a spare set attached to an old front end.
