Winding back to the beginning, Where would you get a mk5 front end from? As Tim Duffee doesn't list them. Personally, I liked the Mk6a all round. The front wheel arches match the rears pretty well with the flatish area above the wheel. I know Davrians were never symmetrical but, That Mk7a I had was ...

I was looking at it with a view to buying it but, was put off by the fact it was a Mk4 and didn't have a detachable rear end. I found this when looking for a photo of something else. It was at Pestalozzi hillclimb around 94 or 95. Looks a lot healthier now.

Hi Soyuz, I am using sierra rear calipers also so template should be ok, altho very little is the same on two Davrians!. Any chance you can trace the shape of the rear disc brake mounting - I need to make some to fit the standard imp trailing arms. It depends what calipers his using, The calipers I gave you with the car are for a Sierra. I have a paper template for the brackets for these which need to be cut from 6mm...
