You are so right about the face,we took my 5 and 8 year old boys to see the movie cars 2 last weekend ,then they have been helping do the car this week,and both said it has a happy face , how come they saw it as well and i didnt !! Well weeks later and its in primer. had to make new door hinges,new bonnet pin set up,re fiberglass the front lower panel as it had been cut from the car !! It took 2 days to make a headlight moulds then set them in the wings,then another day to shape the wing tops. She will be all ready next wednes...

When i say seat problems,i mean with the MSA for stage rallying, if your seats are out of FIA date you will need a new pair,thing is no one makes a seat as yet, or no one has come forward with a suitable seats as yet,i light to sit quit upright but these cars are so low slung i had to make a new par...

Best to get the hard work done now,we are trying to tie the front coil overs and the front pick ups as one,to stop flex. We have had to weld big steel plates to the rear cage,the cage right by the engine,so the rear coil overs / top mounts can be made stronger,+ the engine should stay in, even tied ...

Still hard at it !!
New door bars in,new GRP part floor in ,head lights now round well not far off.
It all take so long,but best to get it some where near right now,then the development can be done as we rally.

It wasnt to bad,a few strips of 4mm marine ply,reducing in size from 35mm at the front down to 0mm at the back,they builders foam,they fibreglass/filler. As of today the new GRP floor has been fitted,from the underside it is dead flat with no more than a 10mm dip right at the back of the floor where the bum of the seats fit,i am very plesed with it,i can even get the seat upright,with helmet on i still have about 25-30mm gap from helmet to roof,once ...

Im glad to see the big camber change on the front wheels,just had the new floor made up,hoping to bond it in later in the week,body is now ready for paint,so she will be back home next week end,then the hard work starts.

Hi all does anyone out there have some idears on the weight of there cars,rolling or fully built !!
My Mk 8 seams quite low,no seats no engine or box,but other than that fully rolling,even 1/4 of a tank of fuel in both tanks 475 kilos.
