Re: brake shoes

Hi again Dean, Just had a trawl through my Davrian stuff and found some info. Re: brake shoes

Yes can confirm that they are Honda bike brake shoes, I used them when I fitted the handbrake on my Mk 8 when I converted it for road use. I've got the details including part numbers somewhere, I'll try and find them and get back to you

Re: list of Davrian body shells

Easy to solve, contact John Rawlins of the New Davrian Register, he has all the info Bernard Porter had plus much newer and additional info on more recent owners. He does make a nominal charge for a copy of the chassis and owners lists.

Re: Engine change Mk8

Hi Gary, Can think of a few things that might help you. I have a MK8 with mini engine which is obviously not modern, but it will give you the basic layout principles for any transverse engine ( it's the Mk8 shown in a book called Maximum Mini ) and I'm not that far from you being in West Dorset. Ano...

Re: Longleat hillclimb

About 2 weeks ago I was talking to a committee member of Woolbridge who confirmed that unfortunately Longleat is not going to happen.......... too many problems and too much expense.BUT he did let on that a new venue was being explored in the Dorset/Devon area and thought it looked hopeful that it w...
