Re: Fabricated Trailing Arms

I've got a pair but, they are fabricated from 2x1 box section. They are genuine Duffee parts.

Re: race alternator

The Nippon Denso units that are fitted to Japanese and Korean cars are nice and small. I think Graham Cashmore has one fitted on one of their cars.

Re: Rear discs

I will try and remember to have a look in my notes, I might have written down the part number for them.

Re: Is this yours?.

This car looks very much like a car I looked at in Sheffield many years ago, Was it green at one time? Just the headlamps and 5 spoke revolutions make me think it could be the same car.

Re: Rear discs

I think they are Volvo or Saab IIRC. and are redrilled for the studs, A bit is turned from the inner edge to stop them rubbing on the stub axles at the front and they are reduced to 10.2" diameter. I have a set of them here but ,They are cross drilled and lightened and are a bit bigger than 10....

Yes, Tim said he had taken it for MOT and it had failed on not having a rear fog light and the front tyre rubbing on the body at full lock.

Re: petrol tanks

I remember Steve Brickell telling me that when he bought his Mk4 (Tim Duffee's mothers car) that a previous owner had drilled a hole into the tank about half way up and he only discovered it when filling the tank. He said it took him ages to scrape out all the foam around the tank to remove it.
