Re: electrics info please.
Well I'm in Ashford, Kent so a meet in the South East will be good for me. The show would be a good place unless we do more of a Davrian only meet. There's always a McDonalds or similar venue. I know a lot of us have yet to get our Davrians sorted so a meet sooner rather than later might be an idea ...

Re: electrics info please.
Hey we're all friendly on here. Nuts, but friendly. Rebuilding these things does that to us I suppose. Is anyone out there thinking of, or planning a meet sometime this year? If not may I suggest that we do seeing as Longleat is not on anymore and there seems to be a lot more owners out there than t...

Re: Pat Longhurst's mk5
Was wandering when you was going to appear on this site. Is this Richard or Antony? The car in question is the old mk5 that was white then was painted in grey when Derek raced it. A bit different now though. Would be good to meet up if you're still based in Kent.

Re: rebuilding davrians
Hi, you may remember me as the one who is restoring an ex Pat Lonhurst mk5 with an R1 engine fitted. After waiting almost 2 years to get it painted I have at last collected it from the body shop. Unfortunately after starting work on it I am finding parts missing that are, I believe are specific to I...

Pat's mk5
At last. I have just collected the old girl from the body shop after almost 2 years of waiting! She is now tucked up in her new home waiting for me to get on and finish her off. Unfortunately I've already found some things that I'm not too happy with. This is typical of my marathon rebuild and just ...

Re: Orange Mk6
Bet I've got you beat there. Those of you who have ever seen one of Pat Longhurst's race cars will know that he wasn't one for too much fuss. Bear minimum was the name of the game and I am going even less. All guages have gone in favour of just one. When I got the car there was a driver's seat, but ...

Re: Orange Mk6
She looks real good. When do you reckon you'll be on the road and what more needs doing?

Re: My mk5
I've just been told by the body shop that I should be able to pick the old girl up next week. Then the work begins. She needs the original R1 wiring loom spliced and extended, switch gear purchased and installed, suspension fitted, wheels and tyres sorted, glass fitted all round, drive shafts fitted...
